MEET OUR ORAL SURGEON
Dr. Katie Richardson,
M.S., D.D.S.
Dr. Katie Richardson is a dedicated Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon who completed her residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Her extensive training and hands-on experience equip her to provide exceptional patient care. Dr. Richardson built a strong medical career foundation by completing various degrees and programs:
Undergraduate degree in Microbiology and Biochemistry from Texas State University
Master’s of Science from Mississippi College
Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston
One-year internship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Kentucky
Dr. Richardson actively participates in mission trips with the Christian Medical and Dental Association, demonstrating her dedication to serving others. Additionally, she volunteers with Mission of Mercy, providing vital care to those in need.
Dr. Richardson’s surgical interests encompass a range of procedures, including wisdom tooth extraction, adjunctive orthodontic procedures, maxillofacial trauma management, and minimally invasive cosmetic treatments.
Outside of her professional life, Dr. Richardson enjoys the outdoors, cooking, and traveling.

Janel is a dedicated nursing professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Clarion University. With multiple years of experience, she has honed her skills and knowledge to provide exceptional patient care. Currently residing in Brockway, Janel is continuously seeks opportunities to grow and excel in her field. Outside of her professional life, she cherishes moments with her family, friends, and beloved beagle, Jimmy.
Brandi,
Surgical Assistant
Brandi has a decade of experience in oral surgery care, working alongside Dr. Jeffrey Rice. She is thrilled to join Dr. Katie Richardson and the team at Advanced Oral Surgery! When she’s not comforting patients and perfecting smiles, you can find her exploring new places and spending time with her family!
Amanda,
Surgical Assistant
Amanda is a dedicated oral surgery professional with hands-on experience working with Dr. Jeffrey Rice. She is excited to transition the knowledge learned over the past few years to Dr. Katie Richardson’s practice here at Advanced Oral Surgery. She cherishes every moment spent with her family, newest granddaughter, and beloved fur babies.
